MagicPod Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") diligently manages, uses, and shares customers' personal information (as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan) with utmost care.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. User information that does not constitute personal information, as described above, is handled in accordance with our Terms of Use ( https://magicpod.com/en/terms/ ).

1. Collection of Personal Information

We collect customers' personal information when they enter it on our website, and through other business activities and the provision of our services.

The categories of personal information we collect include the following:

• Account and contact information: name, email address, company name, and phone number.
• Billing information: information necessary for billing and payment. Card payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"), and we do not retain payment card information. Depending on your plan, invoice payment may be available, in which case we also handle the invoice-related information you provide.

Our services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13.

2. Purposes of Use of Collected Personal Information

We use customers' personal information for the following purposes:

• To provide our products and services
• To improve the features and quality of our products and services, provide support, conduct sales activities, and develop new products and services
• To respond to violations of our terms, policies, and other rules regarding our products and services (collectively, the "Rules")
• To notify customers of changes to the Rules and similar matters regarding our products and services
• To create statistical data related to our products and services, processed so that individuals cannot be identified
• For other purposes incidental to the purposes above

We do not use customer content obtained through the service to train AI models.

3. Rights to Collected Personal Information

The rights to the personal information of customers who use our products and services belong to the customers. However, customers agree that we may use their personal information within the scope of Articles 2 and 4 of this Privacy Policy.

If a customer requests, under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or erasure of personal information collected through the use of our products and services, or the disclosure of records of the provision of personal information to or from third parties (collectively, "Requests"), we will respond to the Requests without delay by the method we specify, after confirming that the request is made by the person concerned. Please note that a fee of 1,000 yen per request is charged for the disclosure of personal information or records described above. However, the foregoing does not apply where we are not obligated to respond to the Requests under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other laws and regulations.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in Article 2. Account information (name, email address, phone number) is retained after registration, and deleted upon the customer's request after termination of the contract.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

We do not share collected personal information with any third-party company, organization, or individual, except in any of the following cases:

• When we entrust all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purposes of use
• When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
• When we have obtained the customer's consent
• When required or permitted by laws and regulations
• When responding to legal procedures or enforceable requests from administrative agencies
• When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, to the extent required or permitted by law
• When necessary to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraudulent activities or security issues

The categories of recipients to which we provide, or which we entrust with, personal information:

• Cloud infrastructure provider (for example, Amazon Web Services): host our services and store the personal information described in Article 1.
• Payment processor (for example, Stripe): process card payments. We do not retain payment card information.
• Service providers listed in Article 7, which support our website analytics, advertising, marketing, and customer support.

If we become subject to a merger, acquisition, or transfer of assets (collectively, a "Transaction"), customers' personal information will normally be treated as a transferred business asset. Even after the effective date of the Transaction, such personal information will remain subject to the commitments made in this Privacy Policy. However, this does not apply where the customer has separately given consent.

5. Security Management Measures

We provide necessary and appropriate supervision of our personnel so that personal information is managed securely against risks such as loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage. When we entrust all or part of the handling of personal information to a contractor, we also provide necessary and appropriate supervision of the contractor so that personal information is managed securely there as well.

An overview of our security management measures for retained personal data is as follows: establishing internal rules and rules on information access permissions, training our personnel, preventing unauthorized access and similar threats, and understanding the external environment. 6. Use of Cookies

We may use cookies and device IDs obtained from customers to deliver advertisements to customers. Third-party vendors, including Google LLC, use cookies and device IDs to show our advertisements on various sites across the internet, based on records of customers' visits to our website or use of our services.

Customers can disable Google's use of cookies and device IDs by visiting Google's Ads Settings ( https://adssettings.google.com/anonymous?hl=en ). Customers can also disable third-party vendors' use of cookies on the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page ( https://thenai.org/opt-out/ ), and control third-party vendors' use of device IDs in their own device settings.
