Official Release of New Branch Feature and New Standard Plan
Information
MagicPod is pleased to announce the official release of our new Branch feature, which enables management of multiple versions of test cases. This release coincides with the launch of our revised Standard Plan.
What is the Branch Feature?
The Branch feature allows you to create multiple branches within a single project. The initial branch is called the "default branch," and you can create new branches based on the content of the default branch. When you edit specific test cases in one branch, those changes are not reflected in other branches, allowing you to temporarily maintain different versions of the same test case using the branch feature.
Once editing is complete, you can use the "merge" function to integrate changes from another branch into the original default branch. The branch feature enables multiple people to work simultaneously on editing tasks and allows you to edit and run tests in other branches while minimizing impact on the default branch.
For detailed information about the branch feature, check out our help documentation here.
New Standard Plan
With the official release of the branch feature, MagicPod is also launching a revised Standard plan. The new Standard plan includes the branch feature officially (as it was previously only available as a beta feature in the Enterprise plan), plus more flexible allocation of cloud devices and browsers.
- Access our new branch feature. Default limit is 10 branches, with additional 10 branches available for $80/month.
- Freely allocate additional cloud devices and cloud browsers for any purpose (without distinction between test creation and batch execution). Additional devices available at $80/month per device.
- Default visual difference check steps increased to 100. Additional 100 steps available for $80/month.
For questions or concerns regarding the new Standard plan, please contact us through our inquiry form. Thank you for your continued use of MagicPod.
