Notice: Establishment of Data Retention Policy
Information
Thank you for using MagicPod.
Until now, MagicPod has retained all past test execution results indefinitely. However, as stated in this notice, we have decided to establish a data retention policy, and test execution results exceeding a specified retention period will be deleted. This change is intended to optimize service operation costs, and we appreciate your understanding. Please review the details below regarding the retention period and affected data.
Policy Implementation Date: October 1, 2025
※ From this date onward, data older than the specified retention period will be gradually deleted.
Retention Period:
- Standard Plan: 1 year
- Enterprise Plan: 2 years
If you require test execution results to be stored for more than 2 years, please contact the MagicPod Support Team. Additionally, you can use MagicPod’s Web API to retrieve and save necessary test results locally before October 1, 2025. If you need detailed instructions on how to do this, please reach out to the MagicPod Support Team. A help page outlining the procedure will be published at a later date.
Affected Data: In general, all data related to test execution results will be subject to deletion. However, test cases, shared steps, and UI elements will not be deleted.
The following data will be deleted:
- Test execution results
- Batch test execution results
- Auto-healing results
- Image diffs
For auto-healing results and image diffs, expectation values for repaired UI and image differences will remain. However, detailed records of how fixes were applied in specific test runs will no longer be viewable in the execution results.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the MagicPod Support Team.
Thank you for your continued support.
